February 26, 2016 marks the fortieth anniversary of Carriacou Historical Society. To commemorate this milestone, CHS has published a special edition magazine that celebrates forty years of ‘preserving the rich heritage of Carriacou and Petite Martinique for generations past, present and future.’
With generous support from our advertising sponsors, the 32-page souvenir publication is filled with historic photos, profiles of founding members, past presidents and cultural icons, a report from the ongoing Carriacou Archaeology Project, as well as contributions from local poets and a few other surprises!
Copies are available at the Museum Shop in Hillsborough or contact us to receive your copy in the mail. XCD $25 or US $10 (plus shipping).
Produced by CHS 2016 Magazine Committee: Stephen Alexander (Chairperson), Elena Andrew, Randy Cornelius, Sharlene Cornelius, James (Nick) Cox, Peter E. Cox, Maria Hamlet, Patricia Hollingsworth, Patrica John, Susan Payetta (Editor), Luther Rennie, Hilda Stiell and Gloria Wells (Secretary).
